About Victor

Victor Barta is a litigation lawyer at Winright Law, focusing on civil and commercial disputes, real estate conflicts, business law, and family law matters. Before joining Winright Law, he built a career as an executive in high-tech companies, leading international mergers and serving on the board of a NASDAQ-listed public company, which gives him a strategic, business-minded perspective in resolving client disputes. He has experience with disputes between developers and local governments, failed real estate transactions, shareholder disagreements, and contested wills. He holds a Master of Laws in Corporate Securities and a Juris Doctor with a Business Law concentration from the University of British Columbia, an MBA from Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University.
