About Serge

Belleau holds a law degree from Université Laval and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1983. He joined Gagné Letarte at the start of his career, practising in civil litigation and labour law before specializing in labour law. He represents the firm's clients before civil, penal, administrative, and arbitration tribunals and regularly acts as management spokesperson in collective agreement negotiations. He has recognized expertise interpreting and applying Quebec's workplace accident and occupational disease legislation, occupational health and safety law, labour standards law, and both the Quebec and Canada labour codes. He advises and represents manufacturing and service companies as well as parapublic and paramunicipal organizations.
