About Serene

Serene Aulakh joined Coal Harbour Law as an articled student in September 2025, after earning an LLB (Hons) from the University of Exeter. She has experience in prison law and administrative law from her work as a legal advocate with a prison law clinic, where she supported incarcerated individuals with human rights issues and represented clients at disciplinary hearings, and she volunteers with the Justice Education Society on public legal education and with the South Asian Community Legal Clinic on access-to-justice initiatives.
