About Sean

Sean Ovas is an associate at Steinecke Maciura LeBlanc, where he works across the full range of professional regulation matters. Before joining the firm, he spent time at a Toronto boutique practice, helping clients with administrative, municipal, and privacy issues before specialized tribunals such as the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. He articled with a local upper-tier municipality, advising on employment, health, and regulatory questions. Sean holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa, which he completed with cum laude standing and two entrance scholarships. He also earned a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, with a minor in legal studies, graduating on the Dean's Honour List.
