About Sean

Sean Johnson earned his Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto's St. Michael's College before working at legal publisher Thomson Reuters, where he edited legal publications and helped build a new platform for lawyers. He continued a family tradition by attending the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, following his father and both paternal grandparents, and received his J.D. in 2017. He was the very first articling student at Stephen Durbin and Associates and helped shape its articling program, joining the team in June 2017 and staying on as an associate once he was called to the bar. A lifelong resident of Oakville, he has spent years volunteering with the Arthritis Society, singing with a local community choir, and staying involved in local politics and his church community.
