About Sean

Sean joined RBHF as an associate in the summer of 2022. He is an experienced litigator with more than 13 years representing institutional clients, small and medium-sized businesses, and individuals, and has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario. His main area of practice is civil litigation, with significant experience in commercial litigation, debt recovery and mortgage enforcement, alongside a broader litigation practice. Sean earned his Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Science and Economics from the University of Toronto and his law degree from Queen's University. He previously practiced at a mid-size Toronto firm for 12 years before relocating his family and practice to Kingston, and is a strong proponent of civility in litigation who mentors articling students and junior counsel. He is a member of the Frontenac Law Association, where he currently co-chairs the Civil Rules Committee.
