Jennifer has provided legal services to the Kingston community for many years, with a practice focused on wills and estate planning, estate administration, corporate law and real estate law. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation, having completed the STEP Canada Diploma Program. Jennifer earned her law degree from Queen's University in 1999 and has been a member of the Ontario Bar since 2001. Before practicing in Kingston, she served as legal counsel for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, where she gained experience in health law, policy, health privacy and advocacy, including the Mental Health Act, the Health Care Consent Act and the Substitute Decisions Act. She also contributed to the federal Assisted Human Reproduction Act on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and assists clients with preconception, donation and surrogacy contracts. Jennifer is active in the Kingston community, serving as legal counsel to the Kingston Writersfest and on the boards of several local organizations.
