About Scott

Scott S. Richardson was called to the Alberta Bar in 2020 and has since gained experience in criminal defence, immigration and refugee matters, traffic and provincial offences, civil litigation, and impaired driving offences, including the SafeRoads Alberta administrative scheme. Born and raised in southern Alberta, he moved to Edmonton for law school at the University of Alberta after earning an honours degree from the University of Victoria, and articled with Hladun & Company. He's a Legal Aid Alberta roster lawyer and was involved with student groups including the Indigenous Law Students' Association and OUTLaw during law school, earning the David R. Percy, Q.C. Excellence in Student Leadership Award.
