Scott Hutchison is a partner at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP, practicing complex civil, criminal, regulatory, and constitutional litigation with a particular focus on white collar crime and appellate work. He has argued hundreds of matters at the Ontario Court of Appeal and more than two dozen cases before the Supreme Court of Canada, and regularly appears before professional discipline tribunals and the Ontario Securities Commission. He served as counsel at the Crown Law Office-Criminal in Ontario from 1989 to 2005 and was a partner at a top litigation boutique from 2005 to 2012 before co-founding his current firm. He is the author of several widely cited legal texts, including Search and Seizure Law in Canada, and taught at Queen's University and Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1987.
