About Scott
Scott Hicks has practised civil litigation since 2015, with extensive experience in complex personal injury cases, underinsured motorist protection insurance, administrative law, and criminal defence. From 2008 to 2015 he acted as Patient Advocate for clients with mental illness at administrative tribunal hearings, and with Nova Scotia Legal Aid he appeared before the Provincial Court and the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal. Scott holds an LL.B. from Dalhousie University (2006), a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie (2002), and a B.A. in English from Mount Allison University (2000), and was called to the Bar in 2008.
