About Sarnj

Sarnj Rai is an associate lawyer whose practice focuses on family law, civil litigation, ICBC claims, and personal injury matters, with additional experience in wills and estates, including drafting and probating wills. She was called to the bar in 2013 after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University. Before law school she worked with the RCMP's Major Crime Section/Homicide Unit and the 2010 Vancouver Integrated Security Unit. She has litigation and trial experience in both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia, and has handled complex family law matters including adoptions, separation and marriage agreements, divorce, property and asset division, custody and guardianship, and support claims. She also works at a law firm in Surrey, British Columbia, and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Trial Lawyers' Association of British Columbia, and the South Asian Bar Association. She speaks Punjabi.
