About Sarah

Sarah Melnyk is an associate lawyer at LMS Lawyers LLP practicing civil litigation and family law. She completed a BA in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Manitoba before earning her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa, with a concentration in health law, and articled at the firm from 2024 to 2025. She has a particular interest in health law and volunteered during law school with the Amethyst Women's Addiction Centre, where she received the CJ Wagner Access to Justice Award, along with placements at Community Legal Services of Ottawa, The Ottawa Mission, and the Canadian Health Coalition.
