About Sarah

Sarah Dobson is an associate in Cox & Palmer's Halifax office, practicing general litigation. She holds a Political Science (Honours) degree from Dalhousie University and a JD from the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University, and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2021 after completing a clerkship at the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal. While in law school she received numerous academic prizes, including course prizes in Contracts, Property, Torts, Constitutional Law, and Insurance Law, and the highest standing in her second year. Sarah co-wrote a book profiling the first 50 female MLAs in Nova Scotia, and established a scholarship fund at Dalhousie for young women interested in politics using proceeds from the book.
