About Sandip

Sandip (Sandy) S. Khehra was born in Montreal and admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2005. He was granted exceptional student status and admitted to McGill's Faculty of Law directly from CEGEP, earning both his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Civil Law in 2004. During a leave from his studies, Sandy served with the Toronto Police Service in its busiest division, giving him firsthand insight into how police investigations are built. After law school he spent ten years as an Assistant Crown Attorney, prosecuting cases including homicides, sexual assaults, and major firearms offences, before moving to the defence bar in 2014. He now takes a meticulous, results-driven approach in both criminal trials and police discipline hearings, and he provides services in English, French, and Punjabi.
