About Sahra

Sahra joined Mills & Mills LLP as a LegalShield Associate in 2016 after articling at a small firm in London, Ontario and being called to the Ontario bar in January 2013. Her articling experience covered family law, civil litigation and wills and estates, and she has since developed a focus on family law issues facing low-income families, including matters involving the Children's Aid Society. She has also worked in employment law, personal injury, business disputes and estate planning. Sahra earned her Honours B.A. in Business Administration and Political Studies from Trent University and her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she took part in the Aboriginal Intensive program with a placement in Winnipeg. Before joining the firm, she volunteered at the Family Law courts in Toronto and worked on law reform at the Law Commission of Ontario.
