About Ruth
Ruth was called to the bar in 1992 and was born and raised in Essex County. Early in her career she represented insurance companies and served as a special prosecutor for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board before shifting her practice to represent injured people exclusively. She handles motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, slip and falls, and product defect claims, along with disability claims and statutory accident benefits disputes. She has appeared before courts at multiple levels and served as counsel at a coroner's inquest that contributed to Ontario legislative changes on workplace harassment and violence.
