Ruth Stewart, called to the bar in 1992 and born and raised in Essex County, started on the insurance side, representing insurance companies and serving as a Special Prosecutor for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, before moving to work for injured claimants and later appearing as counsel at court levels up to the Federal Court of Canada.
