About Rubina

Rubina Sidhu leads Border Solutions Law Group's Canadian immigration practice, handling temporary and permanent residence applications, inadmissibility and enforcement matters, refugee protection, and citizenship. She was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2016 and, before joining the firm, practised with a boutique immigration firm and appeared in Federal Court and British Columbia Supreme Court litigation. She has taught undergraduate courses in law and immigration at the University of the Fraser Valley and Douglas College, and serves as a Tribunal Member at the Employment and Assistance Appeal Tribunal. She holds a J.D. from Thompson Rivers University (2015) and a B.A. in Criminology with distinction from Simon Fraser University (2011), and works with multilingual clients, particularly multi-generational families who prefer to communicate in their native language.
