About Ronaliz
Ronaliz Veron practices in wills and estates, with a focus on estate planning, estate administration, and adult guardianship and trusteeship matters, regularly appearing before the Court of King's Bench of Alberta. She previously worked with Alberta Justice's Family and Surrogate Court Litigation branch, where she acted as legal counsel for the Public Guardian and Trustee of Alberta. She also practices child protection law, representing the director of a delegated First Nation agency and acting for a First Nation intervenor in child welfare proceedings. She joined Bruni Law as an articling student in 2015 after completing partial articles with the Natural Resources Conservation Board and the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre, and was admitted to the Alberta Bar later that year. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Distinction in 2011 and her Juris Doctor in 2014, both from the University of Calgary. She is bilingual in English and Tagalog and remains connected to her Filipino heritage and community.
