Ron Sorokin, KC, has a commercial law practice centred on commercial real estate and property development, commercial leasing, acquisitions and financing. He articled and has spent his entire career at Witten LLP, including serving as the firm's managing partner from 2010 to 2020. Ron earned his LLB from the University of Alberta in 1991 and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 1992, and was appointed King's Counsel in 2024. He is a Bencher for the Law Society of Alberta, a volunteer Civil Claims Duty Counsel with Pro Bono Law Alberta, and a past chair of the CBA's Commercial Property and Leasing subsection. Outside of his professional life, he volunteers weekly for Meals on Wheels and supports the YMCA, United Way, the Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity.
