About Robin

Robin Moodie is a founding partner of MMW with nearly 40 years of experience across construction disputes, insurance coverage matters, class actions, personal injury files and cases defending fellow lawyers against professional liability claims in Ontario's courts. Known for a calm and strategic style, he is often called on by other lawyers for advice, earning him a reputation as a trusted advisor within the profession. In 2019 the Ontario Bar Association gave him the Joel Kuchar award, recognizing his professionalism and civility. Before entering law he worked as a small-town newspaper journalist. His academic background includes a B.A. and M.A. earned at Western Ontario, a law degree from the University of Windsor completed in 1983, and mediation training through Harvard's Negotiation Program.
