Robert O. Levin received his LL.B from the University of Manitoba, articled and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1974, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1980. Since then he has practised as a civil litigator in Kelowna, representing business owners, contractors, and individuals in estate disputes, insurance issues, and personal injury and slip-and-fall claims. He has reported cases in the Supreme Court of Canada, the British Columbia Supreme Court and the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and has conducted court actions against major insurance companies, including the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, utility companies, the Government of British Columbia, and the City of Kelowna. He was regional representative (Yale County - Kelowna) to the Provincial Council of the Canadian Bar Association and is a member of the BC Trial Lawyers Association. He has served on various community boards, including as past president and director of the Bridge Child and Family Services Society and past president of the Okanagan Jewish Community Association.
