Employment & Labour LawRobert McGlashan practises estates law, estate dispute resolution and litigation, family law, personal injury, and employment and civil litigation, and has appeared before the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal, WSIB, the College of Psychologists, the College of Massage Therapists, and other tribunals. He obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, where he received a Gold Medal for academic excellence. He has served on the board of the Canadian Defence Lawyers and on the Ontario Bar Association's Civil Litigation, Insurance Law, and Small Firm Practice groups, and edited the Insurance Law Newsletter. Outside law, he is a recognized open-water swimmer, among the first to swim across Lake Titicaca and to complete a double crossing of the Straits of Magellan, and has swum long distances to raise money for causes including Shelter Movers, the World Wildlife Fund, and the Brain Injury Society of Toronto.
