About Robert
Robert Brush is a partner focusing on securities and corporate commercial litigation. He advises and represents public companies, investment dealers, corporate officers and directors, shareholders, and individual investors across a wide range of capital markets disputes, including class actions, officer and director liability claims, shareholder governance disputes, oppression remedy issues, and takeover bid litigation. He appears regularly before the Ontario Securities Commission, the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization, and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. His commercial litigation work covers disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions, breach of contract, fraud and cyber-fraud, and wrongful dismissal claims against investment firms. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and was named Securities Litigation Lawyer of the Year by Benchmark Litigation in 2020. Robert is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and frequently speaks on corporate, securities, and litigation topics.
