About Rijja

Rijja Baig is an associate in WeirFoulds' Corporate and Securities & Public Companies groups. Before joining the firm, she practised corporate and securities law, advising registrants, investment funds and private issuers on regulatory compliance, fund formations, financings and corporate reorganizations. At WeirFoulds she continues to work on public and private financings, fund formations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and other capital markets matters. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2024, holds a JD from the University of Windsor, and earned two prior degrees, in social work and in arts, from the University of Waterloo. She speaks English and Urdu.
