About Richard

Richard joined Soloway Wright in 1998 as a business and real estate lawyer in the firm's Kingston office. His real estate practice focuses on acquiring, disposing of and financing multi-unit residential buildings and advising on subdivision and condominium developments, and he acts for financial institutions financing real estate developments across Ontario. His corporate practice includes advising family-owned businesses on governance, succession and estate planning. Richard earned his LLB from Queen's University in 1983 and a BA from Queen's in 1980; he was called to the bar in 1985. He previously practised in Toronto for twelve years with an emphasis on corporate finance.
