About Reid

Reid Wilkie has practised with Smith & Hersey Agribusiness Law LLP since 2012 and founded the firm's Consort office in 2013, where he still works every Wednesday. His practice centres on agriculture clients across Alberta and western Saskatchewan, alongside estate planning, real estate, wills, estates and corporate and tax matters for other clients. He has presented at more than 60 agriculture estate planning seminars, mostly in small towns, and has operated the firm's Oyen office every Thursday since founding partner Daniel Smith retired in 2019. Reid is a called lawyer in Alberta, Saskatchewan and California (inactive status), and worked in construction framing for a decade before entering law.
