Simon Hersey's practice is split roughly evenly between agriculture-based clients and other business sectors, and has included the sale of a technology start-up, an expanding retail business, and international agribusiness matters alongside farm and ranch clients working through renewable energy projects, expansions, intergenerational transitions and joint venture farming arrangements. He focuses on agriculture and agribusiness, real estate, corporate and business transactions, wills and estates, transition and estate planning, financing and secured transactions, commercial leasing, and tax. Simon holds a J.D. from the United States and an LL.B. from Canada. He is based in Medicine Hat and spends every Monday and Tuesday working from the firm's Hanna office.
