About Katrina

Katrina Melnyk, based in Grande Prairie, was born and raised there and pursued her legal education in England, earning her LL.B. from the University of Birmingham in 2023, before returning to Canada to complete the Federation of Law Societies exams. She articled with Stringam and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2026. Her practice focuses on civil litigation and wills and estates, with a developing interest in corporate and commercial law, and she is bilingual in English and French.
