About Rebecca

Rebecca Kennedy is a partner at TGF whose practice covers restructuring and insolvency work, including receiverships, security enforcement, debt collection, creditors' rights, and forbearance agreements. She acts for both debtors and creditors in regional, national, and cross-border insolvency matters, serving clients in industries such as cannabis, telecommunications, consumer products, real estate, energy, and private equity. Rebecca founded TGF Topline, the firm's external newsletter on restructuring and litigation, and has been closely involved in mentoring newer lawyers through the firm's articling program. Her recognitions include the 2023 Benchmark Litigation Canada Future Star award, the 2018 TMA Toronto Women of Excellence award for emerging talent, and the 2017 Lexpert Rising Star award, and she has been ranked in Chambers Canada and Lexpert in multiple years.
