About Raymond

Raymond A. Goddard is the firm's managing partner and chairs its Family Law Group. He was called to the bar in 2001 and has practised family law exclusively ever since, bringing more than twenty years of experience to his advocacy for clients. Ray has gained extensive trial experience arguing family law matters at every level of court in Ontario, from the Ontario Court of Justice up to the Court of Appeal, and he also represents clients in mediation and arbitration. He is qualified as a mediator and arbitrator, and he often speaks at conferences and seminars for the Law Society of Ontario, as well as the Ontario Bar Association, on continuing legal education topics. His writing has appeared in the Canadian Family Law Quarterly, and he mentors junior family lawyers both within and outside the firm. Ray was an inaugural member of Oshawa's Dispute Resolution Officer Panel, appointed in 2011.
