About Krista
Krista Kennedy is an associate at Walker Head who practises solely in family law, helping clients reach durable resolutions during difficult transitions. She prepares marriage contracts and separation agreements and regularly appears in Family Court, though she's ready to litigate when negotiation or mediation isn't enough. She has appeared before both the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. Krista grew up in Pickering and earned an Honours BA in political studies and global development from Queen's University before completing her JD, with a specialization in Canadian law and practice, at Bond University in Australia. She articled with Walker Head and became an associate there after her 2021 call to the bar, and she's a member of the Durham Region Law Association.
