About Randie

Randie Long has significant experience in specialty litigation, with a background in criminal law, entertainment law, environmental law, commercial matters, family law, and elements of immigration. He was called to the bar in Ontario, becoming a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, and later became a member of the Law Society of British Columbia. He has appeared at all levels of court in BC, including the Court of Appeal, in civil, family, and criminal matters, and previously worked as a federal prosecutor and as a Crown Counsel prosecutor in British Columbia. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Carleton University, and the University of Windsor. Randie has built an international practice focused on Canadians and Cuban-Canadian families in Cuba, holding delegate status with the Organizacion Nacional de Bufetes Colectivos (ONBC) since 2016 and working on immigration, inheritance, human rights, and family matters there. He has also been certified as an expert in common law before the Cuban International Arbitration Tribunal. Outside law, he is a musician and former radio station manager, and represents writers, performers, and musicians in entertainment law matters.
