About Rami

Rami Johal earned his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University after a career in the new home industry. During law school he volunteered with the TRU chapter of Pro Bono Students Canada on civil, criminal, and family law matters, served on the Thompson Rivers University Students' Union Board of Directors, and received the Dean's Course Prize in Tort Law. After graduating, he was one of fifteen Canadian law graduates admitted to the Young Lawyers International Program, during which he interned with the Enforcement of Patients and Health Workers' Rights organization, and he has also taught in the Legal Assistant Administrative program at Campbell College. At Verhaeghe Law, his practice focuses primarily on litigation.
