About Rajinder

Rajinder Sahota is the team principal (formerly managing partner) at Avize Law Group, formerly known as Acheson Sweeney Foley Sahota LLP. Growing up in Esquimalt, he was drawn to law partly in response to discrimination he witnessed and experienced, and his practice focuses on personal injury and class actions on behalf of injured and vulnerable individuals. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce and a JD from the University of Victoria, then worked in corporate law in Toronto and New York before completing a Master of Laws in international law at the London School of Economics. He returned to his hometown of Victoria to build a practice centred on individual rights and social justice, and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Law Society of Alberta. He also serves as a director of the Pacific Housing Advisory Association and Method Built Homes, and coaches youth soccer and basketball.
