About Rahima

Rahima Shariff is the founder of Shariff Family Law, a Calgary firm focused exclusively on family law. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Tumaini University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, graduating as top student in her class, then completed Canada's National Committee on Accreditation examination and her articles with Calgary law firms, gaining exposure to family law, personal injury, and wills and estate administration. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 2017 and worked as an associate with a family law firm for two years before founding Shariff Family Law in 2019. She has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, and is an IMI qualified mediator trained in family and divorce conflict resolution and family violence and danger assessment.
