R. William Duncan (Bill) is one of Cornwall's most experienced real estate lawyers, having practised in the field for over 40 years. Bill co-founded the firm with John McDonald in 1998, and it has grown to be the largest law firm in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry. Bill's primary areas of practice are real estate law, including residential sales and purchases, mortgage transactions, and subdivision and condominium planning, along with estate conveyancing, land development, private mortgages, title insurance, wills and powers of attorney, and estate administration. Duncan obtained a Commerce Degree from Mount Allison University in 1968 and an LLB from the University of New Brunswick in 1971, and was called to the bar in 1973.
