About R.

R. Martin Bayer is a partner whose practice centres on Aboriginal law, natural resources litigation, commercial law, and alternative dispute resolution. Born in Sudbury and raised on the M'Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island, he remains active in the Sudbury and Manitoulin communities. He earned his law degree from the University of Toronto in 1994 and a business administration diploma from Cambrian College, and later completed Osgoode Hall Law School professional development certificates in mining law, negotiations, and Aboriginal law. He is a member of the Canadian Aboriginal Minerals Association and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.
