Bruce Johnson is Senior Counsel at Ellsworth Johnson Michaud, focusing on corporate, commercial and insolvency law. He was called to the New Brunswick bar in 1973 after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick in 1969 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1973. He has lectured for the Law Society of New Brunswick's Bar Admission Course and Continuing Legal Education courses. Bruce advises business organizations, shareholders, directors and officers on governance, financing, contracts, succession planning and dissolution, and has developed a niche representing trustees, receivers, debtors and creditors under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act. He has served as president of the Moncton Boys and Girls Club and his community association, and is recognized nationally as a wine expert.
