About Pierre

Robillard is an experienced business, corporate, and tax litigation lawyer who has prepared documentation for numerous corporate transactions and reorganizations, including trusts, incorporations, rollovers, mergers, liquidations, and acquisitions. With Charles Ouellette, he co-authored a reference work on the legal aspects of business, focused mainly on share capital corporations, and teaches courses for the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec. In tax litigation, he makes representations to auditors during tax audits, prepares objections to assessments in both tax and duty matters, and argues appeals before the Tax Court of Canada and the administrative division of the Court of Québec. He has also negotiated numerous debt settlements with the collections departments of Revenu Québec and Revenu Canada. His clients include small and medium-sized businesses, individuals, and construction contractors. He also drafts and analyzes contracts and negotiates significant commercial transactions as a business law advisor. He is a graduate of the Université d'Ottawa's Faculty of Law and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1982.
