About Martin

Gagnon has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2005 and has worked as a tax lawyer with JGW Avocats et conseillers d'affaires since 2007. As a partner in the firm's tax department, he works mainly with entrepreneurs and professionals to optimize their tax position and protect their assets, including setting up trusts, planning business transfers, integrating key employees, incorporating professionals, drafting shareholder agreements, and estate and incapacity planning involving life and health insurance. He is a frequent speaker for entrepreneurs, financial planners, bankers, and members of various professional orders. He served as administrator and secretary of the board of the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF) from 2014 to 2022 and has chaired the APFF's regional activities committee for the Laval region since 2008.
