About Pierre-Gilles

Pierre-Gilles Laframboise has practised civil litigation in Quebec since 1975. He became a senior partner at a major Montreal firm in 1984 and later founded Laframboise-Gutkin in 1994, which he led for 25 years. In 1984 he represented the Barreau de Montréal at the Concours international de la francophonie in Brussels, where he placed first for legal writing. His practice covers family law, succession law, and civil and commercial litigation, with particular experience in matrimonial and estate disputes. He served on the boards of Caisse Populaire branches for 25 years and has been active with nonprofit sports and arts organizations, including as vice-president of a canoe club that won a Canadian championship in 1984. Two of his children now practise law with him at the firm.
