About Paul

Paul was called to the bar in 2012 after earning his JD from the University of Saskatchewan in 2011. He is a courtroom lawyer handling civil litigation and criminal defence, with a solicitor's practice preparing wills and property transactions. He joined law after a 20-year career in media, most recently as managing editor of the Penticton Herald, which shaped his interest in copyright, trademark, defamation and free speech law. Paul has lived in the South Okanagan since 2003, is a founding member of Many Hats Theatre Co-op, a past president of the Penticton Rotary Club, and sits on the board of ASK Wellness Society.
