About Olalekan

Wole Akinremi is a partner in WeirFoulds' Technology & Intellectual Property and Privacy & Access to Information groups. His practice covers artificial intelligence, privacy compliance, data security, software integration, outsourcing, cloud computing and IP ownership, and he regularly advises on SaaS, PaaS and IaaS arrangements. Before joining WeirFoulds, he was a partner at a boutique firm concentrating on intellectual property and technology law, where he co-chaired the technology law group, and he has held in-house counsel roles at a Big Four firm and two Fortune 500 companies. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2016 after earning his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from the University of Manitoba. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional and serves as a director of Community Legal Education Ontario. Wole speaks frequently on AI, privacy and technology law, including at an Osgoode forum on artificial intelligence, ethics and financial services.
