About Nolan Wilson

Family law is the centre of Nolan Wilson's practice at Duncan, Linton LLP in Waterloo, and clients get a lawyer whose experience covers negotiation as well as trial and appeal work. Nolan has acted for clients in the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario, before various tribunals, and through alternative dispute resolution.

Since being called to the bar in 2019, Nolan first practised with a Brantford and Brant County firm, then moved to Duncan, Linton in 2024.

Advocacy has been a thread since law school. Nolan competed in moot court at Osgoode Hall Law School and still gives time to the school's mooting program as an alumni coach of its Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court team. The 2025 Osgoode team won the national championship in Ottawa, the school's first Jessup national title in decades, which sent it on to the international rounds in Washington, D.C.

Nolan grew up in Ayr and did an undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo before heading to Osgoode. Away from the office, baseball, hockey and time outdoors fill the hours, and Nolan sits on the board of the Brant Skills Centre, a charity that teaches literacy and essential skills to adults and older youth.
