About Nicholas

Nicholas Buhite completed both his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Toronto, earning an Honours B.A. in history and international relations in 2019 and a J.D. in 2022. He articled with Caramanna Friedberg LLP and joined as an associate after his call to the bar in June 2023. He volunteered extensively, including a year with Downtown Legal Services' Criminal and Academic Offences Division, and served as an Associate Editor of the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law Review. His interest in criminal law traces back to volunteer work he did as a teenager with a youth diversion program, and he has extensive moot court and appellate advocacy experience as a competitor, coach, and judge. Nicholas is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Criminal Lawyers Association, and the Toronto Lawyers Association.
