About Lilit
Lilit Izakelian graduated from York University in 2007 with a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, then earned her law degree from the University of Windsor in 2011. While at Windsor, she volunteered at the Community Legal Aid Clinic, providing legal assistance to low-income community members and students. She articled at a criminal defence firm in Toronto and was called to the bar in 2012, then worked as an associate at another Toronto criminal defence firm before joining Caramanna Friedberg LLP in 2016. Lilit has conducted trials at both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, practising exclusively in criminal law with a focus on drinking and driving, drug, firearm, and assault offences. She belongs to the Law Society of Ontario and the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
