About Nayab
Nayab Ahmed is a Canadian immigration lawyer based in Ottawa. She earned a BA (Hons) in History and Philosophy from the University of Lethbridge in 2022 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law in 2025. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association. After articling with a focus on refugee law, she moved into a broader immigration law practice, and her work today centres on temporary residence, permanent residence, and refusal and delay matters. She comes from an immigrant and refugee family background, which she says informs how she approaches her practice.
