About Nate

Nate Ruston joined Young Anderson as an associate in May 2023 after completing his articles with the firm. He maintains a general municipal practice covering judicial reviews, bylaw enforcement, and real estate development. Originally from Comox on Vancouver Island, he obtained undergraduate and master's degrees in history before receiving his law degree from the University of Victoria in 2022, and while in law school he published two papers in academic historical journals and interned as a review officer at WorkSafeBC.
