About Najma

Najma M. Rashid is an employment and litigation lawyer with a particular interest in disability cases, called to the Ontario bar in 1999. She completed her articles at a labour and employment firm in Ottawa and has handled a diverse range of complex litigation matters, appearing at all levels of court and before administrative tribunals. She has considerable experience with long-term disability claims against insurers and participates in the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association's Long-Term Disability Section. She has also written for The Litigator, the Ottawa Business Journal and The Lawyers Weekly, and previously taught civil litigation to law clerks at Algonquin College.
